A less proactive way to help is to go through the tagme_model tagme_character and tagme_series and replace with the proper tags (make a comment if you are not 1000% sure because I've reverted some horribly wrong ones before and I don't want to go through tag history every day to make sure.) This is not as helpful as what nil is talking about but it's a huge help nonetheless.

Hello all.
First, I want to thank the folk that have been contributing. It is appreciated.
You may have noted that my uploads are becoming rather sporadic. A few months ago I changed jobs and do not have the copious amount of free time I've had when the site launched about a year and a half ago. Fortunately, it also means that I can continue running the site.
We have passed the 50 thousand post mark. Wow. Unfortunately, the backlog of images I have to add to the site continues to grow at an exponential rate. I have approximately 45-ish sets to upload/tag and that doesn't include the crap-load of sets I just haven't gotten around to downloading. There's a lot of gravure girls. Additionally, C74 means a cavalcade of new cosplay images. So the easiest solution I can see at this point is to post a few of my sources and hope folk can help out. I have mods (not that they have a lot to do, generally). What I can use help with is the uploading and tagging.
Let's start with the software:
jDanbooru - http://www.kawaiyume.org/articles/8/jdanbooru-v184
English support, more or less - http://danbooru.donmai.us/forum/show/5057
This is a java-based solution for uploading a folder at a time. It does not do Auto-complete. It works well enough and to me is the best way to do sets. I did not write it so can only provide limited support at best. I also use the Danbooruup Firefox extension for the web based uploads (i.e. cosplay from photoblogs).
Tagging conventions: We are similar to Danbooru in some respects, very different in others. I look at it in this way - quality over quantity. We shy away from over-tagging things like position, eye-color, how many girls are in the picture. We do tag as best we can things like model name, photo set name, character cosplayed and more important things like thighhighs and panties. Hair color if it is exotic or not natural to the asian woman (blonde, green, etc). The tagging conventions have been mainly up to me and so there are some inconsistencies that will probably need to be fixed at some point. (log does his best to keep me consistent~)
So tagging is a work in progress.
At any rate, there are a few sites that provide quite a bit of gravure material that hasn't been airbrushed to death by a scanning group after it was airbrushed by a magazine/website/etc:
http://jappydolls.net/
http://loveidol.890m.com/
http://idols.candyscan.net/
These are a good start. There are a few others but they involve a wee bit more effort than downloading a rar/zip and unzipping.
Don't get me wrong or anything, I'm not making a plea for help. This site will continue on because I enjoy cataloging and archiving images of asian women. I just want to offer those who might want to or already are contributing some better material/a little help.
