Occasionally we have to move a tag and can't alias it. Series or characters are the most common. This is to notify people of moves when we can't alias.

Sailor Moon -> Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon

marie_(model) -> marie

Same girl, redundant now that we've moved the aristocats character.

Mio -> Mio_(blue_dragon)

Easier/better to qualify a character.

Layla -> Layla (Sound Horizon)
Layla_(mod) -> Layla & Layla (II)

Cleaner to append a char tag with a series than something silly like model_(mod_II).

chii -> chii_(chobits)
chii_(model -> chii

Half of marin to marin_(umi_monogatari)
